Hi everyone. Just wanted to do the presentations:
I bought last year a vintage 350ci Monza, it did some rally racing around Europe.
I am currently adapting it to racetracks: stiffer suspension, some weight loss, refreshed things a bit, etc. Monzas are beautiful but more than that they are very original. Many spectators and competitors are intrigued and ask me details about it.

Well, I do not even know some of those details, but with some time and the help of this forum, I will learn, hopefully!

Really cool.
I would love to hear more car noise and less wind.
But still cool vid, and nice Monza.
Looks like it pulls pretty hard, judging how you made it look easy getting by traffic.

I think I recognize this car.... hasn´t this Monza been owned by an Italian gentleman named Alex B?

Anhow, it would be VERY interesting too see (pics, pics!) and hear from you more in detail what modifications you´ve done.

Very cool. If you look through this topic, you'll see a post from Paul Costas. He owned a Monza road race car, (Improved Touring A under SCCA rules), and has some pictures and a short video of it. I bought the car and blew it up a year later. Hopefully will get it together this summer.

Yes it is the same car .
As for the modifications I made so far:
Weights 60kg less, Michelin slicks on 17"x8" rims, a new diff, and completely recalibrated springs and shocks.
And I forgot: rear disc brakes, too.

Handling is way better now that the suspension setup has been adapted to the racetrack. Still some work to do though. Rear is still dancing a bit.

I run a 2.73 ratio diff, otherwise I could not go beyond 200kph without reaching stupidly high rpms (a feat the 350 is clearly not capable of, yet)

Good to know. Will look for it. Hope you will be able to put the beast on track soon!
