Wagon Notchback or Hatchback

If you were building a straight race car built only for 1/8th 1/4 and drag and drive events would you use a wagon notchback or hatchback?

I’m leaning towards Wagon or Hatch but I would love input.

I have a Notchback manual but I want to build a budget drift car out of it.

I’ve made a deal with a local collector to where I get to select 1 of 3 and there is 1 of each for me to select from (2 Vegas and a sunbird). I haven’t made my choice on the one I want though. I’m kinda leaning towards the hatchback. I honestly want all 3 but not sure they’ll part with.

A wagon would be a really cool drift car.

My plan for budget drift car: 3.8 Camaro drivetrain with turbo and mega squirt explorer 8.8
My plan for straight race car small block undecided on trans but I want to build a small tire compressed air supercharged car. Will be automatic but still researching 8hp benefits and costs. Will probably need a fair amount of big wang to get into the 8s I’m dreaming of.
