nitrous filter yes, just before carb, purge and blow off valve NO,you are not going to run 250-400hp nos thru that motor and go thru 10-20 bottles a season, pros use the purge and show offs at the track with small systems,us regular guys just hit the button a few times during the burn out part of our run, save your money on the trinkets and invest in saftey items,my two cents,,,

12.974@105.20. I was a bit disappointed. I hoped for maybe low 12's or high 11's, but I only did one run. The heat really was getting to me, I was really nervous too, and the car got a bit unstable after going thur the traps. Kind of scared me. So, I called it a day. Will wait for cooler weather. This was my first time at the track with this car. So, I guess just a bit of shake down, need to get kill switch, almost did not pass tech, battery is where spare would be, good thing it is in a good strong metal box. Tech guys at Island are really good guys and was glad they let me run. Next time I'll def need that switch installed. Here are a couple pics wife took.

Good first time run, the car looks great, that hot weather cost you three 10th's and three mph,on the through trap wobbles,,check all your lca's bolts front and rear,I solved my wobbles by tightening them up after one hairy run at 124 mph,I found one side had both bolts lose,,I had been doing a lot of street driving and never thought to check them before making a run,,keep us posted and may the tuning begin,,,,

Charles,
Thanks, I will check out those lca's. I think my steering box is shot too, and once car was wobbling and drifting to one side, car seemed very slow to correct, then drifted to other side. So, I had this drifting for side to side like I was going to loose control, once I slowed enough it corrected.

Yep the tuning begins, and once car is stable, I'll try the NOS.

thanks

was it a wobble like in the front end or more of a rolling side to side.

More of a side to side.

There was no vibration or shimmy like as if tires were out of balance.

Drag radials 275/50/15's They were @ 20lbs air pressure.
