I went 7.64@92 mph in the 1/8. 1.77 60 foot time. I speculate low 11's If I ran the quarter.

My old combo weighed 2800 lbs, had a .060" over 350 with cast flat tops, .530ish PAW flat tappet mechanical cam, Canfield heads, hooker 2129 headers, Victor Jr. intake and an Edelbrock 800 carb. Oh, yeah, a 10.5" Camaro Centerforce D/F cluch, Viper 6 speed and a 9" with 3.89 gears, detroit locker and 27" Hoosier roundy round tires as slicks, hence the ho hum 60 foot.

New combo will have a Megasquirted Edelbrock Pro Flo injected 383, same heads and hopefully a pair of small turbos. I'll be looking for 9's or 8's.

Hi Charles and Monzster ...whats happen in the past id tares by rearend section and does twist quite abit ! I have since welded and reinforced the stock torque arm so far so good. But looking for after market type that is stronger and adjustable so i can get my pinion ange down to 4 degrees. rate now i have No pinion angle and 60 foots are bad at 1.66 should be 148 to 1.54 60 foot times.. P.S Monzster if your car runs 7.64 1/8 mile that is 12.20s to 12.10s at 108 mph i know for sure as i used to run 7.60 1/8 mile and ran 12.20 1/4 with smaller 350 engine. Low 11s is more like 7.10 to 7.20 at around 94 to 96 mph in 1/8. Just thought i would let you know the break down difference. Charles i did find e,bay auction for firebird and camaro type but still hopeing theres some one who knows the guy or company name who makes them for H-body cars. I know they make them as i met a guy from down south who was runnning one on his monza at the chevy fest event this past fall at New england dragway i rote the company name down then of course lost it ! LOl If worse case i will buy a F-body one and modify it.

Right now no one makes a torque arm for the Monza. I think Spohn is going to make one as they are making other things for the H-body (rear lower control arms, panhard rod). Jim (monzaz) does rear end work and will build a torque arm 12 bolt rear for our cars using a moser F-body center section.

By the way, what are the weights of your cars? Monzsta said 2800, what about you Charles and Ron?

I KNOW CAR COULD BE FASTER IF I PUT IT ON A DIET BUT I HAVE REMOVED INTERIOR AND PUT LEXAN IN CARS I HAVE BUILT IN HTE PAST AND ALLWAYS REGREATED IT AS THE CAR LOOKED LIKE CRAP NO INTERIOR AND ON HOT DAYS LEXAN WINDOWS ARE LIKE A SONA ON HUMID HOT DAYS !! lol...NOT WORTH IT I WILL STICK WITH COMPLETE FOR ME WORKS BEST. Bill is correct, nobody that I know of makes them but Spohn will be. Spohn as well as others make torque arms for F-bodies, maybe that what you are thinking of?

call sphon the way i was told they can make an adjustable custom one for anything....or jsut use the f-body style mount for the front mount (look at their tq-arms on their site) and your rearend mount and get a custon length f-body tq-arm.....just my opinion....may be more work than your looking for...
