Doug,

That is pretty impressive!!!! I have run alittle faster on 13" wheels, 15.95. 231 V-6,T-350, 3.73 rar gears.

The car has run 15.37 but that was with 14" drag radials, and the 200R4 installed.

I went 13.2 on 13 inch tires way back in the 80's. Had a 406 with a 350-th and 2.56 gears.

Back in the 80's, I went 16.88 @82 with a 1973 Vega ohc 4. Four speed, 3.36 posi, Cyclone bi-y headers, and a stripped interior. It was in July, and really hot. Dropped the clutch at 4 grand. Broke everything in the rear a week later autocrossing the car.

Now that was funny !!! It brought back some "old" memories of BBC/400 combo I tried one time, with a 2.28 gear out of a Spyder, with 22 x 8 x 13 road-race slicks. . .. The burnout was about an 1/8 mile long, after the start. . . . .and I broke 'em loose on the line, and couldn't make myself lift . .<grin> and the next time in the burnout box. . . .twisted the drive shaft off at the hub, and it twisted it down to a "pencil point". . . . after I shucked off all the teeth of the ring gear, and totally "locked" the rear end. . .
Just Another Street Legal(All Motor) 9 sec. Monza.
