I'm running the Transdapt style mounts (same as Don Hardy). Love 'em, but don't expect to run a lot of accessories!

I have a set of Hooker longtubes for sale. They're a bit banged up and they have some surface rust from being covered in header tape. $100 plus ship is fair. They are great headers but you need to cut holes in your body for one tube on each side.
'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.

I have used the Don hardy mounts and headers in my 72 Vega since 1981.

The Don Hardy engine mounts mount to the side of the block using a 60's chevy truck style rubber mount.

The mounts and the headers look good and fit well. My only concern is the headers exit pointing towards the outside of the car and require a curve to the head pipes to bring the exhaust back up under the car. Unlike the Hooker headers that point straight back.

Of course on a strip only car you will probably get away with running open headers, depending on the strip where you run.

Ah...I'm sorry. The Don Hardys are the mounts that look like pedestals on the side of the block, right? I was thinking they were similar to the TransDapt style.
