I know mini tubs or tubs thats a given. What else,do I have to completly redo the rear susp. Could I get away with only tubs using 10" tires?

8) I just finished welding up my backhalf,I have a sbc with close to
700 hp.If you plan on putting 600hp to that stock car you will twist it. the safe's thing to do is backhalf it.I don't know what you have but I'd go that direction a mini tube will not work. I think I had 8 1/2" inter frame to wheel well lip. I can sent a few photo's of it if you'd like.Darrin

I'm using 26x10x15 in near stock wheel wells,I did very little cutting to get them in,,yes they hook like crazy,no rubbing what so ever,I did have to use a adjustable panhard rod to locate and center the rear, look in gallery to see them on the car,,they look decent,,I don't like tire sticking out from under the car,,

Yeah a mudflap Its actually an old skirt kit of some sort but hides the exhaust from the side nicely.
The flares are factory Mirage panels and dont extend the wheel well. The tire in the pic is a 27/10 hoosier QTP with a 9'" tread.
You can fit that width under a vega or monza.
