So the car went 6.81@102.8 tonight on a 100 shot and it set to come on with a 1.5 second delay. Im happy, I was able to run the car all night long and didnt have any problems at all.

Forgive me for asking. . .. . but why are you delaying the NOS for so long????? Are you having that tough a time launching ???? If you've got your car half way close. . . about .5 sec. delay is what most use. . . .or less. . .

Just wondering. .. . .nothing critical here. . .

no reason for it, I just put the delay in the car the other day for the heck of it and I made one pass on the bottle and thats where I had it set at. I normally leave on the bottle.

Funny you ask, I actually bought a 55 chevy 210 post last week. Came with a 488ci big block, turbo 400, alston 4 link, and a meyers front end. So...... I have been kicking the idea around of putting a different motor in the vega and selling it. Im not quite sure what I would be able to get for it and if it would be worth it.

6.80 in the 1/8 = 10.60 in the 1/4

Rustorbust,

Before you sell or dismantle the Vega, please do a breakdown in the Garage or Project Journal of what you did to each area of the car to get to the performance level you have.

This car screams sleeper and overachiever both at the same time. I've picked up a lot following it. You have the only 10 second Vega with a factory-style 4-link that I've read about on H-body.org. I hope that you have an opportunity to document everything for the rest of us.

He explained a lot of the set up here also. I think all he had was bags in the springs and a torque arm.
