I checked with Chris Alston and they have a "kit" for 1800 dollars that includes EVERYTHING needed to backhalf the vega ,well except rear end. You could go either four link or ladder bars with strip or street rod ends. The price includes a 12 point cage.

IMO the only way you can get those tires is by doing some kind of backhalf set up. You will also have to stretch the wheel openings to make them wider. Just wondering why such a tall tire?

I got some photos on my other computer and I will get them to post. I am trying to do the same thing with my vega.

Image32x14x15 The guy is claiming to run this tire but it looks smaller than a 32" tall tire. The wheel well is huge compared to the tire also. I think he meant that it will fit a 32" tires.

I sent pics of the silver car when I e-mailed Chris Alston. I told them I wanted a kit that would get the car sitting around the same hieght. They replied that If I wanted lower I could also do that with there kit. What are you wanting your car to look like, what are you trying to do ,pro street ,race car?

+1 actually ++++++++1 !!

I love the look of Vinny's car!

For the rear of my Vega I used an Art Morrison rear chassis kit. It uses adjustable ladder bars, as it is primarily a street car I don't need the infinite settings of an adjustable four link. I have 29" tires on it. For me any tire taller than that looks too big.....although i have seen many H-bodies with 31's and 32's that look good.

Here are some picks of it. In these pictures the car is still sitting too high. i have yet to finish the tin work, fuel cell, battery, etc. Once that is done I will get to work on the spring rates, ride height etc.
