the push rods are just for a starting point when the manchine shop measured piston valve clearance
we'll have measure for length on everyone and order custom pushrods
Jessel valve train and belt drive
BMF Canfield heads 24 degree (coventional head) that flow over 500 cfm's and thats all I'll say

It doesnt look like those piston have any dome at all....is the chamber small and youre going for quench? I know a regular BBC head has a large chamber and uses alot of dome for compression....but those pistons are setting flat.
You dont have to answer if itll let the cat outta the bag.

Also....ONLY ONE CARB?...lol
I thought all you mountain motor guys went with tunnel rams and dual dominators?

Going all N/A or ya gonna spray it?

Looks freakin awesome...Ive been trying to find pictures of your old setup to show my buddies but I cant find em on the site anywheres....oh well.

God bless and looks great

Dude...did you win the lottery? That's high-zoot stuff....
'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.

Wes, look at the first pic. If they are sitting flat then the guy that built the bench needs a level.

dome

Postby Dreamweaver » Sun Feb 03, 2008 10:04 am

its just the pictures they have so much dome to them we had to cut them down to fit put it this way each pushrod in the engine has to be measured inidividually

I'll post some of the dome later today or tomorrow gonna finish the short block today rebuild a carb for a customer then take the rest of the day off and watch the game

Hey dave...i thought you where going to not use the dry sump stuff?...Did you get it all to clear the chassis?
Other than that thats a sweet power plant you got there. those are the things that dreams are made of.

Also...how are the headers coming along? Did you get those finished up?

God bless

PS: when did you get an aero scoop style hood?...or is that just photo shop?

I'm gonna give the dry sump one more chance once we get the whole engine mounted

the headers are finished ,but not coated that will just have to wait

the aero scoop is my old hood and I'm gonna give that one a chance as well most likely I'm gonna have to make bigger lady lumps on each side to clear the valve covers with the tall deck
