Found the problem. Screws in rotor cap loosened up, causing rotor bug to miss the contacts in the cap half the time.

Well, we tried it again. This time a little more productive. First pass, it spun the tires for about 10', finally hooked, ran an 8.92 @ 152mph.

Lowered the top 4 link bars one notch, turned two more clicks on the right shock. This time it launched perfectly. Ran an 8.63 @ 158 mph. Motor still needs a little massaging, plugs read a little fat (I think), still trying to learn how to read "alky" plugs. . . ..

Car went straight and true which is very rewarding to the effort put into the chassis. Actually drove like a Cadillac . . . All in all, quite gratifying.

With this, I will end this post. . . .. . with "Smiley Faces"... Until the next project.

90% done, I would say. It's my Friends car, its been re-primed since that shot in my Avatar. Right now he's building A/C, accessory brackets, etc, once all the minor fab is done, he's going to pull it apart for paint, and then start getting ready for street...

I put his car in my Avatar pic to help motivate me to work on mine, I need to get my motorvation back to get back to work on it.... I have a Sunbird coupe, another reason why I wanted to see Stivan's car, get me even more motivated to get on it!!! The coupe's don't seem as popular as the H/B cars..
