If your car is twisting up real bad, check to see if you spun a tube in the housing. It would also make it squirly up top a little.

Charles, look to see if there is a little oil starting to leak around the tube.

No oil there,,its not spot welded,,its welded all the way around,I think Faster hit on something with the lca's,,I promise good video first time out next year,I'll be calling in some favors to get a good crew to come along,,problem last time was 15 went with cars and everyone was on the treadmill,no one wanted to pit their car,,I don't blame them ,,it was 60 degrees and sunny,,cars were running their fastest times of the year,,can't wait for spring and its snowing like crazy here,,will have 5 cars going from our family alone,

Any car with a torque arm doesn't have to worry about a welded housing. It's mostly leaf spring or four link cars that will spin the housing on the tubes due to rotational torque. Being a torque arm terminates rotational torque right at the housing instead of the tubes, the can't spin.

Wow cool info i never really thought about it before but makes perfect sense. when i bought mycar previous owner had installed the 12 bolt and welded the tubes. I am still running stock torque arm but since had to repair it twice and reinforce the hell out of it with heavy steel ! Since then ben good nock on wood .LOL I here spoon might start make some after market ones for H -body cars soon. If he does i will buy one.Still have those Hooker Supercomp headers for sale for H-body like brand new $250.00
