I have always foot braked the car but the fact that the car is now trapping 109mph is killing me cause I see so many other cars that are running like 6.20s or 6.30s at only 106 or 107. I ran a guy last night in like a 30s coupe of some sort (sbc, on the bottle, tranny brake, whole 9 yards, probably only weighs all of 2500lbs) and he left me out of the gate he had a 1.36 60ft to my 1.46. But I trapped 109 to his 106. I was def running him down just not enough track. So what do you guys think my car would pick up from putting a brake in it? Would it be worth it to set it up with one since the transmisison is gonna have to be gone through here pretty soon anyways?
