Man. . . .. 9.50's. . . . that is truly awesome. I'm just sitting here in total amazment, and jealousy, because it took 512 inches of BBC for me to get to that level, and you're doing it with considerably less. . . . And less weight too, I'd say.

Keep up the "fine" work Dude. . . . cause you're just beginning to tap the potential, that you no-doubt, will end up with, later on.

The end of the year is close and I'm still working it bit by bit. Best ET of 9.5408 and best MPH of 141.05

I'm really shooting for the 9.4's this weekend!

I hurt something in the trans Sunday but I had a camera mounted in the car so I thought you guys might want to hear what a stock headed L92 (some milling) sounds and looks like from my point of view.

Also this run was my first perfect reaction time. .0000 I also coasted to a 10.98@74mph

So far we took the trans out and could not get the converter off. Something bad happened in there somewhere. I bought the entire setup from Coan and I over built it and they are sure I could not hurt it with my measly 600hp. Coan has been more than supportive and had me box it up as I have the original box and pallet still and they scheduled a fed-ex pick already today. They told me not to attempt to remove the converter with any force and leave it for them to look at. I have had a great experience so far with there support.

We should have some answers soon.

When it happened to me, the input shaft was forced into the converter so hard that it stuck itself in there,,
try to turn and wiggle the converter at the same time,, if it comes out(input shaft inside the converter) then take and drill a hole the end of the converter, use a drift to knock out the input shaft, then weld up the converter hole, shouldn't have hurt anything,, but the pump,,,hopefully,,
I also have been told that you can drill a small hole into the input shaft, then use a dent/slide hammer to yank it out, but never tried that one?? are you using a glide?
if so be sure to get a gear set from a v8 car,, the first gear ratio is lower but its also stronger!
hope this helps??? TC

I didn't touch it and had Coan pick the entire thing up to look at. It is a PG with 1.80 straight cut gears and all bells and whistles. It should handle 1500hp. I think they will take care of me and I will be back in business soon.
