Looks like the LS Vega is going to be racing the PINKS event at Norwalk this season!

I want to pull a wheelie on TV! I'll try to represent!

No idea when it airs. It doesnt even happen until Aug 27th and 28th so its a waaaays away

Well....that's at least 2 Vegas that will be in the mix. I also made it in the 2 minutes to get a spot. What kind of times are you running? I'm going 9.70's @ 136. I would post a pic of mine, but I can't figure out how.

I am currently going 9.50's at 141 Maybe if we are lucky and the field is fast we will both make it in the show!

Last time here, I'm pretty sure they went with a high 9's field. If they do that again, I should be pretty close, as I'm going 9.78's,- 9.82's. I'm not using the trans brake due to too much air under the front tires. You know what's wierd?.....your car looks almost identical to mine.....dark blue,....very similar cars. I'm weighing in at 2600 lbs., which is heavier than I would like. What is your weight? Dave.

It went over the scales at 2760 with me in it.

Last time high 9's huh. Maybe i need to slow her down a tad for the show.

I also made it in. I made it in to Budds Creek last year. If you watch the pinks all out takes my car was in the begining racing a white mopar. Car runs 9.93@133. If you search provega72 on www.streetfire.net my videos are on there..Will this be your first time at a pinks race ?..

did anyone see pinks all out at zmax dragway? if not look for the crazy run by a black vega hatch! this dude was way out of control from the start, i swore he was gonna pile it up but he NEVER LIFTED! :shock: and still beat the guy in the other lane. i have no clue how he recovered the car! :thumb:

They both are great running Vega's.. and it doesn't hurt that they both are bad @ss looking either.

I saw that, I was jumping up and down, that ol boy CAN DRIVE!!!!!! 8)

P.S. Kinda reminds me of a few passes I made in my NOS injected 427 Vega on street tires, :shock: :mrgreen:
