hooker motor mounts

hello my names john im new on the h body site and i been waiting over 4 months for hooker swap motor mounts and never came and there back order and i wanted to put my motor in my car be for winter!!! and has any body used the hooker swap mounts with trans dapt and did they have to mod any thing?

I've got a set of Hooker mounts I'll be replacing with a motor plate soon, I'd let them go for the price of the aluminum I'll need to build the motor plate. Let me know if ya want em and I'll check on the materials. :th:

now i have a question are these motor mounts that i order are they solid motor mounts and does he come with the trans cross member and all? please get back to me and thanks alot!

It isn't solid, there is a rubber block in between it and the part on the frame, if you look close, you can see the rubber in there.

They aren't the greatest pics of the mounts because they were showing the addition of the core support crossmember that some idiot previous owner had cut out. The trans crossmember in this one is custom made for the TH400 Trans, I don't really like it that much, and may build a new one, but I don't know if it would even work for you. What year is your car? :?: 8)

Thanks alot for the pics, i have a 1979 sunbird it says that vega mounts are diffrent for some reason why?

Well, if you decide you want them, let me know and I'll get busy rounding up material for the motor plate. I was probably going to wait till I got ready to back half the car, but I'm gonna have the motor out soon to replace it, so that would be a good time to do the motor plate as well. 8)
