Posted: Wed Aug 18, 2010 8:10 pmI raced the Friday night heads up all motor class at Milan a on the 6th. It was really cool to at least play with the big dogs. I did make the show of 16 with a 16th place qualifying time but there were only a bump sport or 2.
Rules are pretty much weigh 2900 LBs with a small block on 10.5 non W tires and bring it. I had to add 227 pounds of lead under my seat area (both seats) and the car didn't like it at all. My 60' times were off by a full tenth but it was a blast. I also had to put an old non scoop hood I had on so i didn't get an additional 50lb penalty.
Here is a video during qualifying which is nothing special at all except for the fact it is one of the only times I have got to hear the car with no other car running with me on video. They other guy had issues at the line so take a listen. I found it kinda cool. Also without the added weight I can hit 147
