At the trap speeds you are at and with that huge scoop you are forcing a tremendous amounnt of air under the hood, have you done anything to allow some of that trapped air to escape?

Yep it escapes down the engines throat! lol

No , I really need to redo this setup for next year as my air pan doesn't fit and I have an air filler so really its a was of pressurized air except for the fact its not hot air.

When with my old motor when it was all sealed up it obviously makes more pressure than the motor can eat. Not sure at what point you want that pressure or it is too much and some needs to be vented.
