What are you running for power? Stroker smallblock?
My old 73 Vega went as fast as mid-high 9s (street racing), on stock style 4 trailing link suspension, a 10.25@134~135 or so at the track, popping, spitting and blowing black smoke due to a plugged nitrous filter. The track personnel chased me down and kicked me out, (no fire jacket, expired belts, only a 6 point cage, no SFI balancer, no trans blanket, etc. etc.) I was bummed, I
REALLY wanted a 9 second time slip, but also knew I was probably only gonna get one shot at it. I figured they would make me take the bottle out, (the car ran pretty consistent 11.40s~11.50s on motor), but they made me put it on the trailer for the night.
