Vega vs. Vega drag video.

Postby spencerforhire » Mon May 05, 2014 8:59 pm

It was only a time trial, but it was the "battle of the black Vega" My 72 Hatchback against Darrell Poole's 71 notch. My car is a few hundred pounds lighter and even though both cars have 383 strokers, his makes a bunch more power, and is usually a bit quicker than mine. Not exactly sure why his run was off a few tenths; I believe he may have been fighting fuel delivery problems. His does a big wheelie and mine leaves with no drama, only carrying the wheels a little bit. Big differences are due partly to rear suspension(mine is 4-link, Darrell's is ladder bar), partly transmission(my 'Glide vs. his TH350).
Hope the Facebook permission thing lets everybody see this-

That's twice I've tried to post video from Facebook and it didn't work. I will have to see if I can save it and then upload it to my Photobucket.
