A win is a win!

Postby DoozCoop » Tue Jun 27, 2006 8:54 pm

Just had to brag - beat a 9 sec. camaro this past week...he red-lighted, but it counts as a win! :D next round I ran right on my dial of 12.33 (ok, I sand-bagged a little...hehehe) and lost by .0119, about a bumper length...oh well, next week! It's still a blast, whether I win or not!

nice job.. and yes, a win is still a win..

I've beat a few imports with my Camaro (even though it has like 150rwhp) and they always say I won because I have a Camaro. I'm like.."dude, you have almost the same power as me. You're an idiot!"

Regardless, you have a pretty fast car.. I bet you've scared a few 'Vettes, eh?

Yes a win is a win!!! I was bracket racing on Father's Day weekend with my dad's mid 13 sec Malibu and beat a low 12 sec Monza honestly  , and beat a 10 sec Camaro, cuz he red-lighted, both of them meant I moved on to the next round!!!!

It was a great day!! I only get a chance to do it once a year and won 5 rounds, to be beat in the final by a 10 sec Firebird... :( , But still got a nice trophy and $200 for it!!!

I hear ya, even in my lowly 15 sec spyder, it still felt exhilarating to get a win (especially against a new cobalt lt) keep trying GM!

Well, actually the ss would probably eat me up, but not if I had an equally supercharged 3.8 in there!

theres a dream..

'72 Vega with '93 Camaro LT1/M29 T56/12 bolt 3.31. 16" IROCs all around. Sanderson headers into duals with an H-pipe and Flowmasters. It's loud but at least it's faster than your grandma's Buick. pwned.

Luck has a lot to do with winning, usually when I have won like a couple weeks ago someone gets a very close red light or breaks out by a couple thousands somewhere during the day otherwise I would have been on the trailer.
