it was all fun at the 5.80 index class but since we are moving up to the high 4's the cg will be adjusted to handle the horsepower and the the weight that we are pulling out of the car I need to weigh 2400 lbs with driver and we should make around 1100 hp with one carb no power adders and no less then a 22 degree heads (valve) so no big chiefs etc out of a 565 cid the new block has been ordered and the plan is to have the new engine done an 5 weeks install it, then make new headers then pull it back out and to the dyno for lots of testing . A new tranny and convertor are being build by A-1 with help from marvin (he takes care of alot of the texas pro stock cars already ) here comes some 1.0? sixty foot times
to be compepitive we need to run in the 4.80's @ 145 range now that the chassis work was done over the last year we are finally ready to start the engine program
we will have a couple new sponnors on the cars next year first and our biggest is dennis faerman which is gonna be building and tuning the engine (if you look in the records in national dragster you will usually find dennis' name in super comp) he has build raymond martins cars for years and they do pretty good the other will be straightline racecars (chassis) if we can work out a deal
life is very busy for me right now with a new job and trying to get this whole program together an not piss off the wife and kids too much but hey if it was easy everyone would do it thanks for all the support from you guys and I'll keep everyone posted as it comes along
