Hi All
Just back from the drags,,test and tune,,new best et off the bottle,11.840 @ 112.92 60ft still dismal @1.684, our next big improvment will come with different front springs,,front end is still stiff as a board and weight transfer is marginal, she did pull the wheels up good as they had just sprayed the track with vht,the place was packed but got 7 runs in,,also ran in trophy eliminations,,new to me, but made it to the 4th round, went like this,,dial in @11.90 and ran 12.18 the first race as they guy was sleeping at the tree,,then 11.999,11.995,11.996,lost the last round by .1077 to the local pros, 1st time for me and it was fun,,the car ran great and we never pulled the hood after the first run,,still having some minor trouble with the throttle cable being too long and getting wot with out sticking my foot through the floorboard, this and the springs will get us a new best et,,the photo guy chose my best run to snap a picture,,he said the wheels were hanging,,hope it comes out,,I will post if it does,,all in all a great night out with the family,,
Charles

Congrats, Charles, on the new best e.t.!

I'll be interested to see how it works with the new front springs.

My brother and I are planning to do some shakedown runs on his Monte Carlo at Byron on the 30th if the weather cooperates. Come on down if you can.

I put used 6cyl springs in it and from the little we moved it around,,it seems it made a differance,,we got rained out at the drags so we will go next week and get you some real time results,,
