Hi all
Finally made it to the track for test and tune,We got ten runs in,,new best all motor,,11.819 @114.01,, then it happened,,,
we dropped the timing back 3 degrees and put in 34/38 jets in the nos system,,new best on a 50shot,11.427 @114.66,,,but we are not done there,,,,we stepped up to the 50/52 jets, new best on a 75 shot,,COLIN ARE YOU OUT THERE ?????
Looks like this,,,
R/T .253
60ft 1.592
330ft 4.497
1/8 6.972
mph 99.18
1000ft 9.118
1/4 10.951
mph 122.13
Oh yes,,and this is sliding after the launch, and after the 1-2 shift,,got some great video of the car launching,,a foot of air under the tires,,we ran out of time,,next in line is 10inch slicks and 100/125 jets, that should knock off another .50 to .75 second and add 6 to7 mph,,might not happen untill next season,,, yes guys we pulled plugs after every run on the bottle,,they looked like we just put them in,,no signs of lean out,,and the car ran great,,even at 120mph it was stable, the only problem being the fiberglass hood bowed up in the middle and I could see the engine from the drivers seat,,I thought I was going to lose it,,we will fix that little problem first,,,all in all the car got a lot of attention and the usual questions,,what kind of car is that???? A great day at the drags,,sunny and 80 with a breeze,,,

Nice, All I could get was a 12.73 at 107 .28. I need to address my exhaust, ignition, suspension, and possibly a higher stall and trans brake. Good job and thanks for all your help. I think im on hold till next year as well. ------------------Danny

Charles,

Great job on the 10! Maybe those 10" slicks will solve your traction problem. It oughta scream next year!
