What happened to the Predator Carb?

It was so boxy and strange looking... Now I never see or hear about them. Were they a bust on the street? (and the strip?) :?

As far as I know they are still being produced...they just arent very popular with the mainstream crowd....

I have always heard great things about the predator carbs....but Ive also heard that aftermarket upgrades are scarce.....also...theyre kinda ugly.

I know alot of the 4WD guys use them on their blowers and tunnel rams....like tractor puller stuff.

Plus they where like $580....I could buy 2 good holleys for that.
or one dominator!

God bless
