I have been studying how to do a rebuild on my carburetor for about a month now, and as of tonight I finally finished doing my rebuild(it took about 3 days with parts order/cleaning/rebuilding)........
Anyway, I was hooking it back up on the intake manifold and while hooking up the vacuum hose from the back of the carb to the pcv valve, the valve cracked! I forced it a little too hard, and it broke. The botttom of the valve is exposed, I can see a spring and I saw the plunger fall out.
Do I just get a new PCV valve and pop it in? I was afraid that possibly the valve had broken in the manifold, but does the valve just plug into it?
I think it's just the bottom of the cap that broke off, if it helps I'll take a couple pics and put em up.
Thanks for any suggestions!
