Throttle cable

Postby TopNX75 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 2:56 pm

Where can I get a replacement throttle cable for my Vega?
I can just see a day at the brackets, making a few rounds and SNAP! That would hurt!

I would like to put an extra in the toolbox.

uh, I think it's the stock cable (round ball (crimp) thingy inside, square snap in outside.

thanks!

Do you know if you are running the stock Vega cable or has it been changed to something else?

I used a lokar cable and housing.

Then when that cable started to fray, I yanked a cable out of the boneyard and cut it to length... no need to buy another lokar housing/brackets. Either the lokar or any GM cable from the 70's-80's have the ball attached to the end.
