Hey Ausrs, hope this helps. If I remember correctly Pontiac used a 90* fitting, stock, on thier Q-jets for their motors. Someone here can probably get one for you if you are interested. A word of concern, the fuel line looks to be very close to the t-stat housing, this may cause fuel delivery problems. The fuel may get too hot and thin out or even possibly boil. Insulating may help, but it would be better if you can get the fuel to come into the carb further away from the t-stat house. Its just a thought and I'm only trying to help. good luck jer :mrgreen:

thanks :) i try (well my wife says i am trying )
i would like to raise the carb a little BUT until i get a hood mounted to see what clearance there is i am working on the belief i have none :)
