need air filter housing

Postby dunl » Sat Nov 08, 2008 2:33 pm

I have a Buick V6 from a 79 Spyder that is currently in a 48 Jeep Willys, using a Rochester Dualjet 210....lots of room under the hood.

Where could I find a cheap filter housing that would fit this? What vehicles would have a matching housing so I can start looking at junkyards?

Thanks.

Almost anything GM in cars that used a 2bl after 79. From H-bodies with a 231 V=6 or a 305 V-8, F-bodies with a V-6 or V-8, full size B-Bodies with a V-8, or most of the midsize A-bodies. I should have a couple of H-body, and maybe 1 A-body style, save you a trip to the yard, $10.00 plus shipping.

Thanks Jeff, that helps a lot. I appreciate the offer to ship one, but I'm up in Canada (location is fixed now).

Thanks again.
