Vega fuel pump for V8's?

Postby 1973vegasandiego » Fri Dec 26, 2008 8:42 pm

Will the stock Vega fuel pump supply enough fuel to a slightly modified 350? if not how bout a Monza V8 pump
and would that be a simple swap?
My thoughts would be that an aftermarket external holley type pump would be better and remove the stock pump and install a longer pick up and filter
What have you done to yours?
Thanks
Chuck

Look in the engine swap area.
This is mine and the best way to go IMO. The sump is even made from stainless. Don't buy a generic sump, they're too big (wide).
