Do you think the spreadbore 450 would go on that one even? I'm pretty sure the Holley has the spreadbore flange too. It doesn't look like you could even modify it to mount that. You could always use a small Holley like 390 or 450 squarebore.

I was about to offer you the Q-jet I modified. It would work better for a warm performance motor better though.

Matt, just set the float level, then adjust the idle mixture screws with a vac. guage,adjust the screws each side till you get the highest reading of vac. it does not mean that both sides have to be the same turns,just the highest reading of vac. Then, divide your reading by 2, this is the correct powervalve to install in the carb for your engine combo, after this, the carb will behave quite nicely on the street for you as long as the main jets are "close'.
