Inglese induction for a Buick V6

Postby stage169 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:40 pm

This thing looks COOL! I guess Inglese started making these in the 80's but don't anymore. I know nothing about Weber carbs but if you could convert one to E85 and a blow thru setup I would be in! If so I could make a carb hat that looked like the Indy car setup and set a new track record......... What do you guys think something like this is worth? The owner wants $800.00 but there is no way I'll spend that. I sent Inglese some numbers off of it so hopefully they can tell me something. For a couple hundered I would buy it even if I couldn't use it cause it looks so good, well maybe not. Wish me luck. Brian

. Thats just about the going rate for them. They can be a real pain to tune right. I had a set on a vair engine years ago. I think they have 3 size vuntures. some of the 3 barrel webs ya could change out the size of the Carb Venturi Sleeves.

Haveing dealed with the older weber carbs. My mouth waters for PMO carbs

http://www.pmocarb.com/ them are the real deal.

If the system is ready to run $800 is a pretty good buy, but they don't look like they are. No linkage, no fuel lines, two different colored carbs. The manifold is the hardest part to find.

I'd like to have just the intake. 6 Hilborn injectors and twin turbos would be neat.
