Pro-Flow XT

Postby jeffs73v8vega » Thu Jan 14, 2010 8:00 pm

Im thinking of a change and would like to know if anyone has tried or if they know, will this fit a 73 Vega with Don Hardy motor mounts and stock hood. Right now it has tri power on it and is pretty tall. The car is in winter storage and hard to get to for a measurement.http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/efi/pf-xt_chevy.shtml

if the 5.0/.7 TPI motor fits , the pro-flow isnt much taller , maybe a cowl hood swap at the most

I have about 4" between the hood and my TPI intake, so I think you should have no problem with height.

What you have to watch is the length at the front, the air filter on the end of my TB just misses the rad support.

Cheers,

Tim
