Have been thinking about running an inline fi fuel filter on a stock carbed fuel pump as a pre filter to the carb and other than the pluming ??? Is there any thing else I am missing ???

Not sure if there is any restriction issues or not on a FI fuel filter. Of course those are designed to run under much more pressure than a carb equipped engine. Not sure if that makes any difference, never opened one up to see what's inside. weren't there some large filters designed for carb engines?

the inlet side of most fi filters have a metal deflecter. with out that the fuel pressure would rip the paper element . i would just look for a good carb filter .http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRM-HPG1/
