Does it really matter if your brake booster is hooked to the manifold port behing the carby or the large port on the carby? I am running the transmission vacuum off of the carby and the brakes off of the mani. Seems to work but I want to be correct.

as long as its taken from the manifold vacuum , and not a ported source its fine

some cars used the same nipple to run both the vacuum modulator and power booster
