Cosworth fuel injection

Postby fheckro » Sun May 06, 2012 8:41 pm

Hi all,

My friend just bought a 75 cosworth vega. ran ok ... parked it overnight ... will not start.
Fuel pumps all work fine.
Does anyone know of a good bendix FI book for this car? I suspect this is the problem. it will start if i squirt fuel into the plenum.
I have worked on bosch L jetronic before but it was a long time ago. I really need a good trouble shooting guide.

I run Webers on mine so I can't help you much but if you go to the Yahoo Group 'Cosworthvegas' you'll get a lot of input, you'll have to sign up for the site. I'll copy your message from here to get things started. Have you checked fuel pressure http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/cos ... =214329356
