Not quite following you Len.
I see a H-body fuel sending unit and pump on the left in that first picture.
I assume you are saying that the unit on the right is for a fuel-injected engine which would mean that it is possible to attach a high-pressure fuel pump to it. And it all fits in the H-body gas tank?
What vehicle is that FI unit from/for?

Hey . Tom Yea that is what I'm thinking . Altho this is for a tbi set up I'm sure that it could work for sfi . But I am trying to make it work for a carb .
I am going tohave a problem with clearance at the top Didn't get much time today to play but here are a couple of pics showing the turn around of the lines . I also tested it with the birds fuel gage . It will read empty when it is , but only shows 7/8 full on full.

Ok people here or the views of this sending unit installed !!! O ring ect it is to tall to fit the factory tank. Either cut the floor for room or play with the lines , or drop the tank . I'm going to play with drooping the tank thinking A 1/2 or 3/4 should work. !!
Any ideas on how to give the room off the upper body work ???

Been a wile !
Haven't had time to play
S10 long range sender . The big line return is the breather for the fill !!! the next one up is the fuel return . And that is where the problem for fit lies .
Yup cut and solder the the breather for fill . but for fi the return needs to be be dropped .
Talking 3/4 " of spacer on the body to make room for it all !
