Will a pump and sender from a 1987 gn fit in a 1976 skyhawk fuel tank ?

Are you looking for a direct replacement? The GN is fuel injected so the pump is a much higher pressure than a carb would use. The sender unit looks nothing like a stock sender and the sender needs to match the size (depth) of the tank. What exactly are your plans? Here's a pic of the GN sender, obviously looks a lot different than a stock sender. It might fit the hole in the tank if that is what you were wondering, you have to try.

I can't tell you about the GN pump, but I successfully mounted a V6 Camaro/Fiero FI pump to the sender on the Cosworth I had. I wrote an article for the Cosworth Vega Owners Association Magazine covering it that I could send you.

Yes. I have a gn pump in my 77. Problem is no baffling in the tank so it needs to be kept above half full.

I think FItech recommends a Walbro 255 or equivalent. GN pump would probably be adequate. I have to install a Fitech system in a 67 Nova this week. System looks excellent for the price(less than half of what FAST or Holley want for the same thing).

what, if anything, does everyone use to baffle the fuel tank, as sloshing fuel will allow the pump to suck air.
