I think on another post Webers were mentioned and you were concerned about getting them set up, here's a great instruction guide, used it on my CV and very pleased with the results: https://cnx.org/contents/oKbaEWQ3@2/Sel ... -of-Weber-

Maybe that wasn't you, someone else that was new here.

poust usa is my site!!

I have the jetting info for the 45 dcoes…
I was looking for a cast dual 45 dcoe weber intake for the 140 vega...
or at least the part number.

and I am looking for jets and setup info info for the holley 390 4150 set for 140 vega race...

just trying to avoid buying a set of every thing holley….

I saw a cool 4bbl intake that sold on e-bay back 6 years ago...
sparco for a 140 vega!!
I have pix of that now!!
looks kinda like an offy but is wide open in the runners!!

one last thing I am searching for is a hooker header for the 140 vega....

 Well, nice site anyways! Here is a place that makes header flanges if you know how to bend your tubes, http://www.headersbyed.com/__chevrolet.htm#Vega unless that's you too, lol.
Since you mentioned the offy, seen one on ebay the other day https://www.ebay.com/itm/323292161459?s ... 1436.l2649 .

some one got a deal on that offy intake!!
I missed out... started bidding, but I was at clients working on a machine when the auction finished...

I was looking at some of what the guys were saying on the offy and the holley 390....
they said it was not working out right for them...

I wonder if it was too lean or too rich.... or if they did not have the head and cam for the volume of the flow needed....

my thought is to run mechanical 4150 carb in a 390...

application is drags... so...

high rpm...

and yes I run an afr meter on the setup...

I had to with the webbers to get the jetting right for the temps and humidity....

my thoughts are it maybe less fussy with a holley setup right...

I am looking in to tbi 4bbl as well... a bit pricy but I could dial it in with a computer!!

and with proper mapping I could flash a change easy at the strip!!
