Since I have had no luck getting rid of my 75 parts car ( now body shell ) as one, I have started taking off what I think maybe useful in the future. The rest of the car will be scrapped in the coming week. I know it is getting hard to get parts, trim, etc., so this is why I am trying to save what I can, even if my garage is packed now, haha. I have so far removed the windshield and hatch window moldings, front corner lights, tail lights, front and rear metal trim at headliner, visors, steering wheel, step plates at bottom of door openings, etc. But I have yet to remove the 1/4 window moldings. I tried to pop them off with my trim tool ( have the right one for windshield trim ) but I can't get the 1/4 trim off. I don't want to get to rough with them as they are still in good shape. Any ideas?
I know that the glass is still good and maybe the wheels are useable, but I only have so much room to store parts at home, so I have to be picky on what I save. The interior needs redoen anyway ( seats torn and dash pad cracked ) so I am not to concerned with those parts. It would be nice if some one, some where, had an H-body salvage yard, don't ya think? Any thing else besides what I have removed so far that I should save?
