Well people here is where it stands today
More rubber filler a couple coats of different color primer .

I am thinking that the white primer would show better ?
Guess I'll do that before paint.

The factory used a 2 tone tape stripe (decal) around the border of the formula accent color and the body color. So a clean paint edge wouldn't be an issue, And they could get painted up quick.

I think your car had the red/orange stripe? It would use that , same as the borders on the lower body.

I am thinking that I give it a sand down to remove the dust specks ect and start to wax it to prepare for the fiber glass ,
There is no point in trying to dive with this panel as we saw the result on the first try.

I have a rear nose cone ( & front) for my Monza from Showcars in TO that will require some reworking, I have to change them from race car pieces to street car parts ie: make headlight & turn signal buckets etc. I will try and get some pictures and figure out how to post them to help all who are interested. Iam also fighting the weather, spring in Windsor ON ended up worse than our warm winter, also been up and down at work probably 59 hrs. this week if I get to bed and get up on time anyway, need to make the other item that seems to stop progress really fast ($$$$$) have a good one.
