How are your fabricating skills? Nobody makes a patch panel, but you might be able to find someone who can rob a piece from a donor car. Ask for pictures, no sense in paying for another rusted and hole ridden part.

Good Luck,

MIne wasn't too bad. It was about a coffee can sized hole. All I did was use a Camaro battery tray I had laying around, and cut the hole to fit into the little recess there was in the battery tray, and weld the tray to the body. Worked fine for a while, then I had to relocate my alternator to the passenger's side, which mandated the battery moving to the trunk. When I pull the engine this winter I'll probably just fill in and smooth the battery tray area.

That is a common problem with the Vega/Astre, but not the Monza et al.
I would think that a 2nd-Gen H-body would be a good donor.

I will just fab something up. Is it pretty much a mirror image of the drivers side inner wheel well? Anyone have a good up close pic.

I just found mine is completely rotted away.......... Hoping to find a good one from a donor car. Would one from a 2nd gen really fit?
