Ken,

I agree with you 100%. just have not compaired them myself. and Merle, yes there is a rib down the center of the trunk. I would ditch the luggage rack and put the spoiler on. Just my opinion.

Ya I do agree also . I went and looked at a trunk model Patricks 1151 sitting the back And in actuality the sunbird trunk lid is not straight across the back it has a small v shape tail light to tail light ,
not to mention the v in the centre of it . Now I am thinking that it might be poss to use a Formula hatch spoiler set up on a 2 head light monza, thinking that the end pieces of the spoiler could be modified to the body . Looking at the trunk model and the rear urethane rear piece of of a 2 headlight they look the same but ??

I have a Sunbird hatchback spoiler I bought in a drunken stuper off Ebay. The guy listed it for an Astre.
Anyone need a Formula Hatchback spoiler?

Nope the formula end pieces will have to be modified to fit the monza flat tail light section

Does anyone have just the ends for a coupe spoiler for sale? I was able to get just a coupe center section with the raised bump in the middle, but there were no ends. What was strange, was it still had the pinstriping on the bottom of the spoiler, but looking at an angle, there was 2 decals on it that said Monza Spyder. Did they ever make a Monza Spyder in a coupe version with a spoiler?

I have a 78 Sunbird coupe and I'd be interested in a complete spoiler setup if anyone wants to sell.

Anyone ever try cutting down a TransAm trunk spoiler for a Monza Coupe?
