2 1/2 cowl hood

Here are some pics of my hood. Had a few guys ask about it. It's a bolt on hood and will latch closed. Have the pins for added security.

If possible I would like to see some pictures of the hood underside, including closeups of how the louvers mount to the hood.
What vehicle were the louvers original to?

That looks like a well made hood. I too would like to see pics of the underside. Mine is a glasstek and does not look as good quality wise.
If that hood has a functional cowl together with those louvers it would be a sweet set up on a vega. You have a nice looking car.

I've got some louvers that look kind of like that that I saved off of an early front wheel drive sunbird, GT I think. They were positioned kind of close together on the front of the hood. I was just moving some stuff around in the shop the other day and came across them again.

It's a functional hood. Ill try and get some pics of the underside in the next day or so. Just crazy busy with work. :censored: I like the way it looks and It gives me enough room to clear the air gap and fullsize air cleaner.

YES, I do on my hood.
I only run a wiper on the driver's side. I have a polished cap over the wiper shaft protrusion on the passenger side.
