All Vega hoods interchange, as well as those from 78-80 Monza and Sunbird wagons. The most desirable ones to find had bolt-on hinges; usually found on the later years.
The "fleet"-
72 Vega HB Drag Car -383/'Glide/9"(9.35@146.19)(5.94@117.28 1/8th)
77 Vega Estate wagon- project(someday)will have TPI305/T-5, S-10 spindles/axles
76 Vega GT- 400/4spd/9" retired from active duty(rusty)
06 Silverado 2WD ex.cab daily
03 Silverado 2WD ex.cab (retired)
06 Haulin' 20ft enclosed car transporter
06 GMC Canyon Shop truck
07 Colorado project( 5.3 4L60e swap)
99 Saturn SL1- wife's car
01 Saturn SC2- son's project
07 Saturn Ion Redline project
and 4 more Saturn "parts cars"
Note- the very act of listing all of these has made me realize I have some kind of problem.....

No, a Vega hood will not fit a 80 Monza. Completely different hoods.....

I doubt it will even match up with the body panels on the 1978 Vega bodied Monza's as the front clip was 2 headlight Monza, I suspect they will bolt up as I believe the hinges and spacing are the same but I like Clyde said doubt the body and maybe even the latch will line-up. The '80 was like all other Monza's and will offer little in body panel interchange. The front clip on a 78-80 Monza wagon is not the same as that on a coupe or 2-headlight hatchback. It is a unique piece that acts as a transition from the Monza-style bumper to the Vega hood.

Also, Vega and Monza hoods (not Monza wagons) open in completely opposite fashion. Vega pivots from the front grill area, Monza pivots from the cowl or firewall area.

My hope was to use a race weight vega hood using dsus fasteners. Mounting latches and hinges wasn't ever in question, just the width and fitment to the Monza coupe header panel.
Seeing the cowl hood on the Monza wagon gave me hope.

Looks like you're out of luck; a Vega hood won't fit and I have only ever seen 4-headlight(Spyder style) race 'glass.
I guess you could try to modify a readily available 4- light Monza hood to fit your 2-light header panel. Either that or switch up to a 4-light nose.
