Vega underhood paint scheme

Postby gotmud7 » Sun Sep 09, 2007 1:48 pm

Hi. Apparently one of the previous owners decided to paint everything under the hood with black paint with a brush. What should be body color, and what is black?

I figure normal stuff is black. Frame, radator suport, steering, etc. How about inner fenders, underside of hood, cowl vent area, firewall.

Its got to be redone, so I might as well try to get it to look right. Feel free to email me pictures: gotmud7@aol.com

Thanks.

My Cosworth is unmolested in the engine compartment area. Everything, including the underside of the hood and the open cowl vent area is painted body color.
