The general concensus is about 3000 or so. Pretty rare car.

Dave, I have one too. Its the ugly burgundy with tan interior. It has air, but no smog pump. The engine has been rebuilt at some time because recently I pulled the heads off and the pistons are .040 over. Unfortunately, the intake and carb have been swapped out for edelbrock units, so I guess a TOTAL restoration is moot. I am going to try and keep the original block though.

I wrote to GM and was told 3,800 and something for all models styles combined (2+2, S, and Town Coupe). I think it was 3823.

RPO L65 350 2bl engine for 1975 = 3,699 That is just the "S" and TC cars. The report does not show the 2+2 getting that engine (not saying that is the law) if you look at the last pic and see the totals for the V8 TC & "S" cars it equals the Models total in the second pic with the RPO L65 (350) & K89 (Air inj) numbers in the first pic. Odds are if you tried you might be able to find one in the yard since so many of them were made (at least for the non-Monza specific parts). Brian

When I owned one of these cars and did the research, I thought I found that there were only a handful of 2+2 cars ever built with the 350.

Reading this post again got me thinking. I see that the "S" and "2+2" have the same model number (1HR07). Did the "S" model come with 2+2 emblems? How would you tell them apart? I know the "S" was a lower optioned 2+2. These reports don't cover everything and for 75 they are combined with the Vega. You have to look at the model numbers to figure anything out and then sometimes model totals are added together.

If you look at the Monza 8 cylinder total number on my earlier post (67,716) and add the Monza 2+2 Hatchback 6 cylinder total (17,894) you get 85,610. Why Chevy added the 6 cylinder Monza 2+2 with the v8's is unknown to me but at least you can see from the Models column what cars they are refering to. On this page again it shows no 2+2 cars got the 350. Did either of you guys get a restoration package for those cars? It probably would be only a handful. Brian

I'm not possitive but, I thought I read that the ( S ) was single headlight. the 2+2 was double headlight. I had a 2+2 75 and my buddy had an (s) they actually were that way. again not real sure but think it's posted on this or one of the links to other sites on h-body

I don't know for sure either, looking at Bryan's site it seems that the TC was the only single headlight Monza for 75?

http://monza.homestead.com/1975.html

Later on in the 1975 model year, Chevrolet introduced 2 more Monzas to the public, the Towne Coupe and the 'S' Hatchback. The Towne Coupe was a "dressy" Monza with a trunk instead of a hatchback and the 'S' hatchback was basically a bare-bones 2+2 with minimal options to keep the cost to the comsumer down. The Towne Coupe with it's vinyl roof was set with large "opera" windows. The front and rear end of the Towne Coupe was much different from the 2+2 in that it included metal bumpers with black bumper guards with a single round headlight design instead of the quad lights found on it's hatchback sibling and a different rear lighting assembly. Essentially the standard and optional features were the same for each model as they were for the 2+2 hatchback.
