Spyder decal on dash?

Postby spyder_xlch » Fri Apr 04, 2008 9:13 am

I was just curious, I see some Spyders with the decal on the dash and others without. What's the deal? What got the dash decal and what didn't?

I seem to recall that it came on 77's and maybe 76's. Never seen it stock on 78's or later.

Pretty sure it was 1977, with Air conditioning.

Not absolutly sure, but thats the only time I have seen them.

Ratio411, cool spyder, and cool story.

Mine came with the dash panel clock right there so a spyder decal wouldnt have been possible.

Like Carl above, 1977 with A/C is all I've ever seen the decal in.

I had a friend in Canada make a close replica one time. I have it on a nice non a/c panel. Looks pretty sweet. I'm saving it for another spyder, or If I decide to delete the factory clock option ( clock drains the battery after a few days and isnt very accurate).
