I didn't mean for you to tear apart your car. :) :o
Looks like you've got a future transaction with Clyde for a new cowl seal. :D

The early 1972 model year production sequence might also explain the use of the 1971 body code of 14177 instead of the 1972 body code of 1HV77.
Someone didn't get the 'memo' until after the '72 models began production. I wonder where that transition/migration begins.

Not a problem, because it was glued on where I took it off, curiosity kills the cat sometimes?
I also was interested why the body code started off like the 71's did,, they pretty much did
what they wanted back in those days, I guess it changed later in the year??
