Well I went and looked at a Millionth Edition Vega. The paint code wasn't 61 like suggested but it did have a paint code 86. There wasn't any real rust but there was some damage to the body and roof. The interior and dash were all apart and missing pieces. I would've loved to have picked it up but I couldn't justify the amount of work that would have to go into it. I do feel like I should have gotten it just on the strength its a Millionth Edition.

VegaBob will have to verifiy the paint code, It looks like the lighter orange in his pics on Car Domain.
If I'm wrong I'm sorry. The 61 is a VEGA ONLY color. Doug in Az 8)

In the brochure that VegaBob added with the photos of his awesome Millionth Vega, the interior looks to be Tan, not White. The brochure also mentions a 'neutral' color for the interior.

I'm not sure what paint code they should be but it was definately paint code 86 and it was original paint. If there was an after makret for these cars like they have for chevelles or camaros I wouldn't have thought twice about it. Unfortunately the only way I see that car ever getting back on the road is with alot of donor parts from other vegas. However someone will pick this up I'm sure. Heck, I'm still fighting with myself for leaving without it.

It had the paint code 86, all white interior, GT model & a 4 speed. No orange carpet or motor & transmission. Looked real to me.

The Millionth Vega that I have here has a paint code 86, "Bright Orange", definitely the darker of the 2 orange colors available in 73. The standard custom interior is somewhat a neutral color, somewhere between a light tan and a dirty white. (This one being real dirty)
I can see where the interior may be easily mistaken as white to someone who may never have seen a true white interior.

I thought they were all 4 speeds but I see yours is an automatic. (Thinking to myself) Hmm how many vegas would it take to get this one back on the road?

Jim,
From the pictures it is clear that the interior in a Millionth Vega is NOT white, but an off-white, or a very light tan color which may be unique.
Thanks for showing the differences.
What does the cowl tag show for the interior color on the Million Vega?

Thats what threw me off with the 61 paint code, outside in the sun it looks lighter. Does anyone have a pic of a 1973 code "61" car? Doug in Az 8)

Believe me, the carpet is orange as is the automatic shift bezel, Yes, dirty and faded.

Tom, don't know where that interior color code would be on the cowl tag. I have an R 888 86 86 PN as the second line. Don't know where else to look. This car, when new, along with the Millionth Vega package ( Bright Orange paint and carpet, GT package, Neutral colored custom interior, white stripes, color keyed door handle Millionth ID) also has the hydra-matic tranny, AM radio, pop out rear windows, door edge guards and the rubber bumperettes on the front bumper as addition options.
